The cost of living crisis is now well underway and has now impacting all communities across Greater Manchester. Unfortunately, the longer a crisis exists the more normalized it becomes. However, the recent headlines that some families have been forced to access loans to pay for baby formula and baby milk for their very young children is and continues to be shocking.
Learning new digital skills can be daunting and sometimes you may not know where to start. Manchester Adult Education run digital skill workshops and courses which will help to develop your online confidence and skills, whether it’s to use in your everyday life, at work or for your studies. 
The Community Transport Association provides leadership, training, advice, and operational support to transport related charities, community groups and social enterprises in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. 
Manchester’s homelessness strategy sets out how the Council and its partners will work together towards ending homelessness. The new three-year Homelessness and Rough Sleeping strategy which covers the period 2024 to 2027 sets out how the Council will work with the voluntary, community and faith sector plus schools, health services and early help services. 
Wellbeing Workshops are starting soon at The Resonance Centre in East Manchester. The workshops are free to attend and a light meal is included. You can turn up on the day or pre register in advance here

Open Data Manchester, in collaboration with Greater Manchester Combined Authority, are developing a set of principles for giving the public a say around how automated decision-making systems are used. It is hoped these principles will set widely agreed-on standards for the use of these technologies across the public sector in Greater Manchester. 
The University of Manchester has a Student Experience Internship (SEI) scheme which provides funding to pay for a limited number of students to undertake an eight-week summer internship within organisations in the charity and not-for-profit sector in Manchester.
