Tackling homelessness in Manchester, Saheli have three refuges. These spaces offer safe temporary accommodation for Black, Asian or Minority woman who are fleeing domestic abuse or forced marriages.

Lifeshare, Manchester’s oldest homelessness charity

Lifeshare, Manchester’s oldest homelessness charity, has been around for a long time. They’ve seen changes in the city for the last 40 years but for 29 years one thing that has remained constant is their Weekend Breakfast Project. Every Saturday and Sunday (and since 2022 Fridays as well) the city’s rough sleepers are welcomed in with open arms for a hot full english breakfast by Lifeshare’s dedicated volunteers.

Justlife “They helped me move on, gave me confidence in myself and I’ve got a life back”

Justlife is a national homelessness charity advocating for people who are living in temporary accommodation (TA). Locally, in Brighton & Hove and Greater Manchester, we support people to improve their mental and physical health, and find a safe, stable home of their own. Nationally, we push for policy change to improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness across the country.
