Macc offers a full or partial grant distribution service to other funders and grant makers looking to run grants or funding programmes in Manchester. We can provide a full package that includes project design, publicity, support for applicants, due diligence checks, payments, monitoring and evaluation.

#Giving Tuesday

The #GivingTuesday movement originally launched in the US in 2012. It is intended as an antidote to the start of the festive shopping season, which is kicked off by Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday shopping online. More and more companies are bringing the Black Friday sales and the Cyber Monday online shopping spree to these shores.

Manchester Gives More

Manchester has a long history of voluntary and community action and a sector which embodies the passions and ideals of the city. Manchester enjoys huge economic success but it is not yet shared by all and life chances are not equal. There are literally hundreds of local organisations working every day in communities to provide an enormous range of support and help but also many of the cultural and social activities around the city.

Health and Wellbeing Service ebulletin

The Health and Wellbeing Service are supporting Self Care Week which starts Monday 16 November. The ebulletin has been sent to the networks of frontline workers across Manchester, sharing information and resources for enabling self-care with the people they work with.

Let's End Hate Cr!me - Grants available for activities in your neighbourhood

Manchester wants to end hate crime by building on the City's reputation for celebrating diversity. You can help do this by holding an event or activity in your neighbourhood during Hate Crime Awareness Week 2016. Events should raise awareness of hate crime and encourage reporting.

Grow Wild community project funding

Grow Wild is awarding funding of £1,000 to £4,000 to community groups that want to bring people together to transform a communal space by sowing and growing UK native plants.

Grow Wild are looking to fund at least 60 groups in 2016 across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There’s a lot of support available from the team during the three month application window in autumn 2015.

BBC Children in Need programmes in 2016

BBC Children in Need’s vision is that children and young people in the UK have a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.

Their role in achieving this vision is by making grants to charities and other non-profit organisations that support and work with children and young people who are disadvantaged and face challenges in their lives.
