UK Aid Direct - Small Charities Challenge Fund, apply by 29 March 2018
The Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) is open to small UK-registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. Grants of up to £50,000 are available for projects of up to 2 years. The projects should strengthen the capacity of grassroots development organisations working with the poor, vulnerable and most marginalised to carry out work in priority countries and work towards achieving the Global Goals.

Asset-based Approaches and Inequalities briefing paper launched
Ambition for Ageing recently released a briefing titled Asset-based Approaches and Inequalities, looking at the risks to inequalities asset-based approaches can have.
The document highlights the need for recognition of the barriers faced by marginalised groups as a key part of asset-based work in order to avoid contributing to existing inequalities.
Hear the perspectives of young black men and help them to access services - The We Tell You research report and manifesto
The We Tell You research report explores explanations to why black men do not access mental health services.
It is the result of a three-year study with 26 young peers who, supported by Manchester based mental health charity 42’nd Street and the Manchester Metropolitan University, spoke to 78 young black men aged between 13 – 24 across Greater Manchester.
