The GSK IMPACT Awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, and with a total annual income of between £80,000 and £2.5 million. 
The Mutuals Interim Support Fund (MISF) is a grant scheme to support organisations to consider, develop or grow a public service mutual. The MISF will award grants of up to £25,000 for organisations to purchase professional advice and support to help them consider, develop or grow a public service mutual. 
Manchester City Council have recently launched their Young Carers Strategy setting out how they intend to work with and support young carers as well as the resources that are available to them. 
Manchester Young Carers Forum have begun a campaign called ‘Be-Bothered!’, they have written a campaign and strategy booklet setting out what the main issues are for young carers. In particular stress and lack of support. The booklet sets out what they would like help and support with and how to help them in the long term as well as who they would like to help them.

This project was developed with residents from Moss Side and Hulme to create opportunities to meet with other residents from surrounding areas to share accounts and stories about Moss Side past and present.
GMCVO have launched a new social investment fund at a bustling event at St Thomas Centre. The event was held in collaboration with Greater Manchester Social Enterprise Network (GMSEN) and included sessions and workshops from network members and a speech from Eamonn Boylan, Chief Executive at Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
