Grant to address Female Genital Mutilation in the Community

As part of its continued commitment to reducing and ultimately preventing Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Manchester City Council is aiming to provide investment in 2017/18 through the Directorate for Children and Families to Voluntary, Community Sector, not for profit and faith sector organisations to further address this issue. Yet another arson attack has been perpetrated against the Nasfat Mosque, which has gutted the building this time. This is an unacceptable act and we are united with people of all faiths and none in deploring all hate crimes.
