Save The Children Manchester Team is looking for organisations or artists with a deep understanding of the Longsight community to collaborate with them in empowering families in Longsight to share their stories and engage with decision-makers.

Macc is delighted to announce that, following an open tender process, we have once again been successful in securing the contract with Manchester City Council to deliver infrastructure support to the city's voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. This work enables us to support charities, community groups (including the community work done by faith organisations), voluntary groups, and social enterprises to be healthy, sustainable, well-run and above all, impactful for our communities.

The awards cover everything from large international festivals to small community events that have contributed to Manchester's creative buzz. Individuals, organisation or groups may be nominated for work including visual art, music, theatre, performance, dance, film and broadcast media, literature, digital art, photography, heritage or craft. Activities should have taken place between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024

Manchester Museum and Manchester Adult Education are excited to launch a new interactive 6-week course to learn new skills, develop confidence and gain volunteering experience.

Inspired by museum collections and drawing on their unique spaces and staff resources, the course is open to Greater Manchester Residents. Learn more about promoting a successful visitor experience and gain an accredited qualification with units in areas such as presentation skills and customer service.

Celebrate our histories at this free four-day festival full of events for everyone.

The packed programme includes four new music World Premieres, walk-about performances, family crafts workshops, live music, comedy, and public talks. Over 50 history and heritage stalls and hundreds of local people across Greater Manchester showcase eclectic, historic, quirky, diverse, and fun entertainment.

Manchester-based African-led Arts and Cultural organisation, Amani Creatives CIC will be delivering an exciting project over 18 months to explore and gather naming traditions and heritage from the Congolese and African diaspora community in and around Manchester.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded a £77,457 grant for the project, thanks to money raised by National Lottery players.

The Youth-Led Creativity programme builds on young people's power to make change, use creativity to enhance their lives, develop their careers, and influence the world around them.

The funding is focused on work led by and for young people (aged 14 to 30) who have less access to creative programmes or who are underrepresented in arts and culture.

The GMCA Inspire Fund is providing grants of £500 - £2,000 for freelance and independent artists, and small organisations across Greater Manchester.
